Towards the end of July, we ventured into new sporting territory by working with Chillisauce at their BRAVE 24 Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event in London. The VIP event saw American Bubba Jenkins defend his BRAVE Combat Federation world title against Lucas “Mineiro”. The event brought together 300+ VIP businessmen, politicians, celebrities and influencers.

We sent 25 staff to the BRAVE Combat Federation MMA event at the Copper Box Arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

Our main focus was:

  • to welcome and greet VIPs, businessmen and women, celebrities and influencers,
  • assist with table number allocation,
  • ensure guests were guided to their seats,
  • assist with any queries during the evening,
  • help collect envelope donations on the night

The staff thoroughly enjoyed working at such an exclusive, VIP event and the client was equally impressed with our level of support on the night.

It’s been a busy Summer of Sports for Pinnacle Events Staff so here’s where we have been during June and July…

Game, Set and Match
It was Game, Set and Match in June at The Boodles Championship based at Stoke Park, Buckinghamshire. The Boodles has been running since 2002 and it’s now our second year working with the established pre-Wimbledon event. For this year’s event, we provided a Player Liaison Assistant and Head Steward. Our staff looked after the impressive list of players taking part in the event including Novak Djokovic, Denis Shapovalov, Grigor Dimitro and Mark Philippoussis. The Player Liaison Assistant is a key role supporting their existing team, ensuring that the players are familiar with match times, are courtside within plenty of time and available for pre/post interviews with the media as well as managing hotel requirements and transportation.

Time to Row
July saw us move away from the court and onto water at Henley Royal Regatta with Imperial Corporate Events, one of the leading corporate event agencies in the UK. We provided a team of 35 uniformed hosts and supervisors to meet and greet VIP clients at their prestigious corporate hospitality facility within Fawley Meadows at Henley Royal Regatta. The champagne was flowing with our team ensuring customer’s glasses were charged at all times!

Summer Driving
Imperial Corporate Events engaged our services again in July but this time at Silverstone for the Formula One Grand Prix Racing. We provided a team of uniformed hosts and supervisors to the VIP Drivers’ Lounge adjacent to the Drivers’ stage. This area of hospitality provides customers with stunning views from a private outdoor terrace and views of the world famous Stowe Corner through to Club Corner. Our staff ensured that the hospitality service provided was the best of the best, guaranteeing that this most exclusive VIP area lived up to it’s famous reputation.

 

Royal Ascot Horse Racing Events

To The Races
Our last stop on the summer sporting calendar was Ascot Races for the QIPCO King George Weekend in July with Imperial Corporate Events. We provided a team of 8 uniformed hosts to meet and greet VIP clients in the Furlong Restaurant. Our team ensured all guests had an Ascot experience to remember!

The Boodles Tennis

An annual international tennis championship that is one of the ‘must-attend’ summer social gatherings, giving guests the opportunity to mingle at close quarters with the world’s tennis elite in beautiful surroundings at Stoke Park. The Boodles is an exclusive tennis exhibition featuring the World’s top players over a 5 day period in the lead-up to Wimbledon.

THE BRIEF
Our client required a Player Liaison Assistant to support their existing Team.
The individual in this role was to work alongside the Player Liaison Manager briefing the tennis players on their match times, press related activities, organising practise courts, managing hotel requirements as well as transportation, ensuring they had everything they needed, and being the main point of contact. The role is pivotal to the running of the competition requiring experience, someone who takes initiative and has great attention to detail.

THE FEEDBACK
